Survey App Group includes two applications: Survey One NNT and Survey C-Plus. These apps are designed for field surveying, mapping, and technical data organization.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is stored, and how it is used.
In summary:
By default, Survey One NNT and Survey C-Plus do not automatically collect, store, or transmit any of the following information:
Survey App Group does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, ad networks, or tracking libraries.
The following data is stored locally on your device (or in your own iCloud storage if you choose to use it) and is under your full control:
We, as the developer, do not have access to this data and do not upload it to any server that we control.
The only time data may be sent outside your device is when you voluntarily choose to submit a Support / Issue Report from within the app.
When submitting a report, you may choose to include:
You are not required to provide your name, email address, or any personal information. However, you may voluntarily include such details in the issue description or attached files. We do not control or verify what personal information you choose to share in these reports.
All issue reports and their attachments are stored securely using Apple CloudKit. Access to this data is limited to the developer for the sole purpose of diagnosing and fixing issues and improving the apps.
The apps may request the following permissions on your device:
Used to display your current position on the map and to assist in creating survey points. We do not store or transmit your continuous location history; location is used only at the moment you create or view survey data.
Used when you take photos to attach to survey points or include in reports. Photos remain on your device unless you choose to export or include them in an issue report.
Used only if you choose to select an existing photo to attach to a survey point or issue report.
Used only when you choose to open, import, or export files (for example DXF, KML, NNT, NNTZ, ZIP files).
You can decline or revoke any permission at any time via the iOS system settings. Some features may not work without the corresponding permission, but the app will continue to run.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data is only shared in the following cases:
No data is shared automatically without your action.
Survey One NNT and Survey C-Plus are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as soon as reasonably possible.
We take reasonable steps to protect the data that you choose to send through Issue Reports. Issue Report data is stored using Apple CloudKit and benefits from Apple's encryption in transit and at rest.
Internally, some operations may use standard encryption algorithms (such as AES-GCM and HKDF via Apple's CryptoKit) to protect data, but this does not change the fact that we do not collect or track your personal information by default.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
To request deletion of Issue Report data stored in CloudKit, please contact us and provide sufficient information (for example: approximate date/time of the report or a description) so we can identify and remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the apps or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the apps after an update means you accept the updated policy.
We do not provide any direct contact channels inside this Privacy Policy because we do not require or collect user contact information. However, when you choose to submit an Issue Report in the apps, you may voluntarily include personal information inside the report content or the attached files.
How we handle such cases:
If you voluntarily include contact information (such as your name, email, or phone number) inside the issue description or attachments, we may use that information one time only to notify you that:
Once the issue is completed and deletion is confirmed, we retain zero copies of any personal information you submitted.
